A beautiful makeover starts with the right foundation. Unless you are blessed with naturally flawless skin, you must wear a foundation that will allow you to create the illusion of having flawless skin. Your foundation must fit like a second skin. According to me the best lighting for applying make-up is in natural light, i put my mirror in front of a window, shows up a lot of flaws that need covering & also shows u more clearly if you’ve blended in your makeup properly.

Great tips, keep up the good work! I think you’re doing a wonderful thing for people that are makeup beginners…there are way too many sites out there talking about applying makeup expertly but not so many for beginners.

You are so right about ‘less is more’ when it comes to applying makeup. That is why I prefer the natural powder mineral makeup foundation. It is difficult to put on too much with powder foundations. Also, the new eyelash extenders, if applied carefully, can enhance your natural eyelashes without being discernible.

I have always wanted to go to tutorial classes on applying make up, but have been browsing the net today and I have come across alot of useful information. Alot cheaper than paying to go to a class and probably forgetting everything the minute I walk out the door lol.

Great tips

This reminded me of something I recently read about. A young girl from the UK was giving make up application tutorials online via youtube for various celebrity looks and she became so popular she’s now started a business and if I remember rightly, has her own make up range. I can’t for the life of me remember where I read about it though. Which is a shame because it was an interesting story.
